Biography: Dr. Shivani, Ph.D. is Professor in the Department of Applied Physics, Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University, Noida. She passed her M. Sc. From University of Allahabad in 2002 with first class and first rank and was awarded with Gold medal. Dr Shivani has more than 16 years of teaching experience. She has published more than 20 research papers in National and International Journals. Her research area focuses mainly on Quantum Optics where she is dealing with the teleportation of particles and states from one place to another. Dr Shivani received her Ph.D. in 2009 from University of Allahabad where she studied as a research scholar and worked as a Research Project Fellow in the Project Titled “Quantum Entanglement”. She is also serving as the Editorial Board Member of American Journal of Optics and Photonics. Dr Shivani has authored three books named Concepts of Modern Physics, Heat and Thermodynamics and Nuclear and Particle Physics for undergraduate students. She is also serving as the programme leader for B. Sc(H) Physics and B. Sc (H) Physics and Research in the Department of Applied Physics, Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University, Noida.
