Prof. Surinder Singh Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, India
Biography: 3) Dr. Surinder Singh has done his B.Tech. degree from Dr B. R. Ambedkar Regional Engineering College, Jalandhar in 1997 and M.Tech. degree from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana in 2003. He has received the Ph.D. degree from Thapar University, Patiala, India in 2007. His fields of interest are optical amplifiers, sensor and antenna for broadband communication system & networks. He has worked as Lecturer & Senior Lecturer at Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering and Technology, Bathinda (Punjab), India from 1998 to 2007. Then, joined as Assistant Professor in Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SLIET, Longowal in 2007 and become Professor in the in 2013. He has around 150 research papers out of which 78 are in SCI international journals with Thomson Reuter impact factor and others are in international and national conferences. All Journals papers have Thomson Reuter impact factor and are from good press like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis and SPIE. He has one book chapter of International Publisher and has two patents (01 published and 01 granted) State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China. He is also the associate editor of Telmonika Journal, Indonasia and reviewers of various journals and conferences like IEEE, Elsevier, Springer etc. He has organized the National conference and Short terms courses under AICTE and TEQIP grant. He was also selected by committee of UPSC, India as Assistant Professor (5th pay) for Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi in 2008. He is the member of Indian Society for Technical Education, Institution of Engineers (India), Senior member IEEE.
